Use dressmaker’s tracing carbon paper with a tracing wheel to transfer pattern markings to the wrong side of the fabric. Choose a colour that is close to the fabric colour, but is still visible.
Always test pattern marking tools on a scrap of your fabric prior to cutting out to make sure markings don’t show through to the right side of the fabric, and that they are removable. Not suitable for use on transparent fabrics or on fabrics with a rough or uneven surface.
