Use the point pressing handle to flatten smaller areas such as collars, cuffs, and lapels; ensuring that they are placed with their seam wrong side up, and applying steam generously. The base clapper is ideal for setting seams, pleats, creases and for flattening bulky seams; the hardwood surface will absorb the steam, leaving a crisp finish.
